Officer Elections:
Our club is run by youth "officers" who are elected annually by our members. Nominations open during the April club meeting, where you can submit your / your friend's name for the ballot. During the May club meeting, nominations close, elections take place, and the officers for the 2014-2015 4-H year are announced.
Being an officer is a great way to become more involved in 4-H and gain leadership, communication, organizing, planning, and decision making skills while having fun!

What: Be an officer next year!

Who: Depending on your age and years in 4-H different positions are available for you. Last year, 3rd graders had several spots they could run for, and many positions are open to members who just joined this year.

How:
    Nominations:
Submit your name during the April club meeting nominations or email us with your name and the position you would like to run for. Nominations must be sent in by May 4th 2014.
    Elections:
*You must have the officer form signed by you and your parent to be eligible for elections.
During the May meeting give a short speech (short like 3 sentences or a short paragraph) on why you want to run and why you will be good in that position.

When: April club meeting until nominations close during the May club meeting.

Where: You can nominate yourself / someone else via email but you must be present during the May meeting to give your speech.

Why: Gain various life skills and have fun!
