What is 4-H?

4-H is a youth organization for children and teens aged 5-19 run by youth officers. Each year members pick specific subjects they are interested in and enroll in projects that focus in that area. Through the project work, members develop citizenship, leadership, and life skills. Apart from projects, throughout the year members are encouraged to be involved in citizenship and community service.

The 4-Hs stand for Head, Heart, Hands, and Health, which represent the values that members work on throughout the year: thinking and learning, caring, giving and working, and healthy living.
